Here, in Absence - Portfolio Edition

The Portfolio Edition is the final rendition of my photobook "Here, in Absence" and a satisfying object to hold. Only five copies are made.

Inside the box you will find the numbered and signed first edition of "Here, in Absence" (IIKKI Books, France, 2024) sold out in 2024. I held on to five copies of the first edition to produce this collectible set. The book was shortlisted for Prix Nadar in 2024 and received a special mention in the Finnish Photobook Award 2024.

From the book I have chosen six silver gelatin prints that present different aspects of the collection. Each editioned print is removably mounted on archival cotton board and protected with sheets of Kozo. The handmade (by me) clamshel box is crafted with intense red cloth and double-layered archival board.
